“Megan is wonderful to work with. She brings enthusiasm and understanding to the roles she plays along with her innate sense of humor.”
- Beau Warju, Director
"What sets Megan apart is her fearlessness and ability to honestly connect with her scene partners. Megan has an energy that is electric and contagious to all around her."
- Ricky Glore, Director/Writer
"Megan Renner Rieck. I consistently try to work with as often as I can. She's so funny, kind, and quick-witted and somehow manages to create dope content while managing 2 babies."
- Matt Lamson, Writer/Actor
"You would be perfect for that role. I don't know why they won't just give it to you."
- Megan's Mom
Chicago based comedian, actor and mother, Megan Renner Rieck has worked on a multitude of platforms over her career from film and commercials to plays, musicals and comedy shows. She has written and performed for Chicago's Second City, The Annoyance Theatre, iO and Public House's Bye Bye Liver. At 16, she performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and has been chasing the high ever since. Her blend of millenial quirks, midwest upbringing, motherhood, and pursuit of (desperate need for) laughter fuels her and keeps her authentic.
My Joy Off-Screen
Connecting with others and finding out what drives them. Also keeping my two children alive.
My Joy On-Screen
Creating fresh choices and discovering humor in the little moments.
Born and Raised
in the heart of the Midwest. From dancing at 6 to performing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival at 16. I got that high for performing and followed the fun.

+Positive
When I found out I was pregnant with my son, I knew I had to do something to document my journey. So I wrote a script. My first film I wrote, produced, and starred in, follows one woman's pregnancy and all the trials and tribulations that come with it. An Official Selection of The Blow Up Arthouse Film Festival, this film was my baby (literally and figuratively).

Bride of the Killer Piñata
A decade after surviving the Killer Piñata, a struggling wife and mom must rally the crew one last time to save her family, friends and the suburbs. Checkout this fun, gory and hilarious horror flick where I play Michelle Maloney who makes for a great target for the Killer Piñatas. Warning: Violence, Gore, Nudity.
